Vernissage!

As our time in Provence came to an end, the Sippers held a vernissage (art opening) for new friends and neighbors. We cooked, we painted, we cleaned and decorated. The color-filled wine bottles lined the patio and showed the colors of Provence. Oils, acrylics and watercolors were exhibited on the walls and reflected our love of the area. Local cheeses, olives, sausage, cherries and figs as well as desserts from our nearby boulangerie added to the conviviality of the evening. Tomorrow some Sippers are off to Paris on the TGV while others are flying home. Until the next time, we say “Abientôt, Provence.”ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage
