Ashes Boutique and Tea Room: Last class until September

Most of our Cafe Sketching group and more enjoyed this very beautiful setting and delicious food. We had pre-ordered “Afternoon Tea” but were assured it was enough and appropriate for lunch. Our server, Alex, kept us stocked with iced raspberry tea to begin with and ended with hot vanilla tea with our dessert two hous later. In between was a large assortment of sandwiches and fresh  fruits on a 3-tiered tea tray. Dana and her staff opened the place an hour early just for us, so we had plenty of time to sketch before the lunch crowd came. They were all very accommodating, and we all loved drawing the food presentation before eating it. Thanks, Ashes!Image
