Cafe Sketchers traveled to the Westside a few weeks ago to go to Trent’s, a local favorite for over 20 years, across from NAS Jax. Normally they don’t open until 10:30, but they were gracious enough to open early for us and even gave us our own room. So much to draw!
Before we ate (which my husband says is why we do this!) we sketched and painted this amazing place.
And those that actually finished their pictures had a unique remembrance of a most enjoyable day.
Before we knew it, it was time for lunch. Our server was Toni, and we never lacked a thing. The food was really fresh and delicious, and portions were very generous. Sandie and I shared the platter of shrimp and oysters, and it was plenty. We’ll be back here.
